    Product Description

    CAY10683 is a potent histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor isolated from the cyanobacterium Symploca.1 It inhibits HDAC2 and HDAC6 with IC50 values of 0.119 and 434 nM, respectively, and is without effect against HDAC4 (IC50 = >1,000 nM).1 CAY10683 inhibits the growth of HCT116 colon cancer cells and HuT-78 cutaneous T cell lymphoma cells (GI50 = 29.4 and 1.4 μM, respectively) more effectively than human dermal fibroblasts (GI50 = >100 μM).1
