    Product Description

INDIGO’s PANEL of TR Thyroid Hormone Receptor PanelReporter Assays utilizes non-human mammalian cells engineered to express Human Thyroid Hormone Receptors Alpha (NR1A1) and Beta (NR1A2), ligand-dependent transcription factors commonly referred to as TRα and TRβ. Because each of these reporter cells incorporates a responsive luciferase reporter gene, quantifying expressed luciferase activity provides a sensitive surrogate measure of TR activities in the treated cells. TR Reporter Cells are prepared using INDIGO’s proprietary CryoMite™ process. This cryo-preservation method yields high cell viability post-thaw, and provides the convenience of immediately dispensing healthy, division-competent reporter cells into assay plates. There is no need for intermediate spin-and-wash steps, viability determinations, or cell titer adjustments. [INDIGO Catalog No. IB01201-48P]
