    Product Description

    β-Nicotyrine is an alkaloid that has been found in tobacco.1,2 It reduces the number of dsDNA breaks induced by the tobacco-specific carcinogen nitrosamine (4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone; Item No. 16414) in a comet assay using HepaRG hepatocellular carcinoma cells when used at concentrations of 5 and 50 µM.2
