RAD140

RAD140 is a nonsteroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM; K_i = 7 nM) and anabolic agent.¹ It is selective for the androgen receptor over the progesterone, estrogen, and glucocorticoid receptors, as well as a panel of 165 receptors, ion channels, and enzymes at 1 µM.² RAD140 increases muscle but not prostate weight in castrated immature rats at 0.03 and 0.1 mg/kg.¹ Oral administration of RAD140 decreases tumor volume in a patient-derived xenograft (PDX) mouse model of androgen/estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer.² RAD140 has been associated with liver injury.³
