    Perindopril erbumine is a prodrug form of the angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor perindoprilat (Item No. 17574).1 It reduces blood pressure and decreases the variability of systolic blood pressure in spontaneously hypertensive rats at 1 mg/kg per day for 12 days.2 Formulations containing perindopril erbumine have previously been used in the treatment of hypertension and coronary artery disease.
