    Mazindol (Item No. 21642) is an analytical reference standard categorized as a stimulant and inhibitor of norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin reuptake.1 Mazindol decreases high-fat diet-induced weight gain in mice without eliciting abuse potential or increasing locomotor activity.2 Formulations containing mazindol have previously been used in the management of obesity. Mazindol is regulated as a Schedule IV compound in the United States. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
