    Product Description

    Methylclostebol (Item No. 22448) is an analytical reference standard that is categorized as an androgenic anabolic steroid. It is a 17α-alkylated version of clostebol (Item No. 21168; 4-chloro-17β-hydroxy-androst-4-en-3-one), a chlorinated form of testosterone (Item Nos. ISO60154 | 15645), that can be detected in urine.1,2 The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known. Anabolic steroids, including methylclostebol, have been used to enhance physical performance in athletes.2,3 Methylclostebol is regulated as a Schedule III compound in the United States. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
