    Loteprednol etabonate is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist with an affinity 4.3 times that of dexamethasone (Item No. 11015).1 It decreases wound healing time in mice and minimizes scarring of rabbit cornea wounds.2,3 Formulations containing loteprednol etabonate are used in the treatment of inflammatory eye conditions.
