    Bopindolol is a non-selective β-adrenergic receptor antagonist.1 In vivo, bopindolol decreases heart rate and blood pressure and attenuates ischemia-induced myocardial acidosis in dogs.2 Formulations containing bopindolol have been used to treat essential and renovascular hypertension.1
