    Product Description

    Lactulose is a synthetic and non-digestible sugar.1 It reduces colonic pH to 3.5 and stimulates circular muscle activity and propulsion of fluid in isolated guinea pig ileum and colon. Formulations containing lactulose have been used to treat constipation.
