OBESITY RESEARCH SOLUTIONSCholecystokinin (CCK) octapeptide is a peptide hormone found in the intestine and brain that stimulates digestion, mediates satiety, and is involved in anxiety.1,2 It is a cleavage product of the full CCK preprohormone. CCK octapeptide (non-sulfated) has 1/300th of the activity of sulfated CCK octapeptide.3
