    ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY TOOLS & SERVICES
    Product Description

Etofenprox is a non-ester pyrethroid insecticide.1 It induces toxicity in the housefly M. domestica (LD50 = 23 ng/fly). Etofenprox (0.005-0.02%) induces 100% mortality in green leafhopper adults and brown planthopper and white-backed planthopper nymphs on rice plants within 24 hours of application.2 It is toxic to the aquatic invertebrate D. magna (EC50 = 1.2 μg a.s./L) and the fish O. mykiss (LC50 = 2.7 μg a.s./L) but not rats (LD50 = >2,000 mg/kg).3 Formulations containing etofenprox have been used in the control of agricultural pests.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
