Autophinib is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of the PI3K VPS34 (IC50 = 19 nM).1 It inhibits autophagy induced by the mTOR inhibitor rapamycin (Item No. 13346) or by amino acid starvation (IC50s = 40 and 90 nM, respectively) in MCF-7 cells. Autophinib also induces apoptosis in amino acid-starved MCF-7 cells with an EC50 value of 234 nM.
