    Product Description

Hexanoyl-coenzyme A (CoA) is a medium-chain fatty acyl CoA. It is the preferred acyl donor substrate for ghrelin O-acyltransferase (GOAT) over octanoyl-CoA (Item No. 27868) in enzyme assays.1 It is a precursor in the biosynthesis of olivetolic acid, a resorcinolic acid precursor in the synthesis of certain phytocannabinoids.2

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
