Axitinib sulfoxide is a major inactive metabolite of the tyrosine kinase inhibitor axitinib (Item No. 13813).1,2 It is formed from axitinib primarily by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP3A4 with minor contributions from CYP3A5 and CYP2C19.1
