    Clindamycin palmitate is a water-soluble prodrug form of the antibiotic clindamycin (Item No. 15006).1 It undergoes rapid hydrolysis in vivo to release active clindamycin. Formulations containing clindamycin palmitate have been used in the treatment of various bacterial infections.
