    Product Description

Disialogangliosides are membrane sphingolipids that contain two sialic acid residues linked to a galactose moiety.1 They have roles in cell proliferation, immune regulation, tumor cell invasion and metastasis, intra- and intercellular signaling, and neurogenesis.1,2,3,4,5 Disialoganglioside Mixture contains the disialogangliosides GD1a (Item No. 31591), GD1b (Item No. 31708), and GD3 (Item No. 31709) and is intended for use as a reference standard for the detection of these disialogangliosides in various sample types by TLC or LC-MS. This mixture is supplied in an amber ampule in which the headspace has been purged with argon to prevent lipid oxidation. [Matreya, LLC. Catalog No. 1509]
