    Polygalaxanthone III is a xanthone glycoside that has been found in P. hongkongensis and has antioxidant activity.1 It scavenges hydroxyl and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH; Item No. 14805) radicals in cell-free assays (IC50s = 83.5 and 76.1 µM, respectively).
