    Product Description

    Promestriene is a synthetic estrogen and derivative of estradiol (Item No. 10006315).1 Topical application of a gel containing promestriene (1%) reduces vaginal atrophy and decreases in endometrial and myometrial wall thickness in ovariectomized rats.2 Formulations containing promestriene have been used in the treatment of vaginal atrophy.
