DOWNLOAD NOWIsorhoifolin is a flavonoid glycoside and an aglycone form of apigenin (Item No. 10010275) that has been found in M. longifolia and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3 It inhibits matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), MMP-3, and MMP-13 (IC50s = 0.33, 2.45, and 0.22 µM, respectively).1 Isorhoifolin has antimutagenic properties in the E. coli WP2 tryptophan reverse mutation assay when used at a concentration of 2 µM.2 It is active against S. aureus and P. aeruginosa, but not E. coli or C. albicans, in agar diffusion assays when used at a concentration of 140 µg/ml.3
