    Product Description

    CPPG is an antagonist of group II and group III metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs).1 It reverses inhibition of forskolin-induced cAMP accumulation induced by the mGluR group II selective agonist L-CCG-1 or the mGluR group III-selective agonist L-AP4 (Item No. 14538) in rat cerebrocortical slices (IC50s = 46.2 and 2.2 nM, respectively). Intrathecal administration of CPPG reduces formalin-induced flinching in a rat model of inflammatory pain.2
