    Product Description

    Allocryptopine is an isoquinoline alkaloid that has been found in M. cordata and has antimicrobial activity.1,2,3 It is active against S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, and E. coli (MICs = 250, 125, and 125 µg/ml, respectively), the protozoa P. falciparum and E. histolytica (IC50s = 5.08 and 135 µM, respectively), as well as a panel of seven phytopathogenic fungi, including F. graminearum and F. oxysporum, with IC50 values ranging from 15.2 to 42.4 µg/ml.
