    Product Description

680C91 is an inhibitor of tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase (TDO; IC50s = 1.46 and 0.28 µM for the mouse and human enzymes, respectively).1 It is selective for TDO over indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO; IC50 = >80 µM for the mouse enzyme). 680C91 (40 µM) inhibits the migration of SK-MEL-28 melanoma cells induced by dexamethasone (Item No. 11015).2 It increases brain levels of tryptophan, serotonin (5-HT), and 5-hydroxy indole-3-acetic acid (5-HIAA) in rats in a dose-dependent manner.3

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
