    N-desmethyl Trimipramine is an active metabolite of the tricyclic antidepressant trimipramine (Item No. 15921).1 It inhibits the norepinephrine transporter (NET), serotonin (5-HT) transporter (SERT), and dopamine transporter (DAT; IC50s = 2.92, 6.22, and 29.5 µM, respectively) as well as organic cation transporter 1 (OCT1) and OCT2 (IC50s = 3.19 and 10.4 µM, respectively) in HEK293 cells expressing the human transporters.
