    Product Description

    Rabeprazole sulfone is a metabolite of the proton pump inhibitor rabeprazole (Item No. 14939).1 It is formed from rabeprazole by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP3A. Rabeprazole sulfone has also been found as an impurity in bulk preparations of rabeprazole.2
