    Product Description

    Blasticidin S is a bacterial metabolite originally isolated from S. griseochromogenes that has antibacterial and fungicidal activities.1 It is active against B. subtilis, S. lutea, E. coli, P. fluorescens, and M. tuberculosis, as well as the plant pathogenic fungi P. oryzae, S. mali, G. kaki, and G. lacticolor in a broth dilution assay when used at concentrations ranging from 5 to 50 µg/ml.
