    Product Description

    BRD6989 is an inhibitor of the Cdk8/cyclin C complex.1 It selectively binds to the Cdk8/cyclin C complex (IC50 = ~200 nM) over the Cdk1/cyclin B, Cdk2/cyclin A, Cdk5/p35, Cdk7/cyclin H, and Cdk9/cyclin T complexes at 1,000 nM. BRD6989 increases the production of IL-10 in primary mouse bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) stimulated with zymosan A (Item No. 21175) with an EC50 value of approximately 1 µM and reduces zymosan A-induced increases in IL-6 levels in the same cells.
