    Product Description

    Paederosidic acid is an iridoid glycoside that has been found in Paederia scandens and has diverse biological activities.1,2 It inhibits the proliferation of NCI H1650, HCC827, and A549 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells (IC50s = 40.68, 42.58, and 36.48 µg/ml, respectively).1 Paederosidic acid (10-40 mg/kg) protects against seizures induced by pentylenetetrazole (PTZ; Item No. 18682) or maximal electroshock in mice.2 It increases duration of pentobarbital-induced sleep and decreases the latency to sleep onset in mice.
