    Product Description

    FPL 55712 (sodium salt) is a leukotriene (LT) receptor antagonist.1 It inhibits the binding of LTD4 (Item No. 20310) to guinea pig lung homogenates (IC50 = 4 µM) and reduces LTD4-induced contraction of isolated guinea pig tracheal smooth muscle (pA2 = 1 µM). FPL 55712 (sodium salt) inhibits bronchoconstriction induced by LTD4, LTC4 (Item No. 20210), or LTE4 (Item No. 20410) in guinea pigs (ID50s = 2, 6, and 1 mg/kg, respectively).
