    1-(2-Amino-3-hydroxyphenyl)ethanone is an active metabolite of the quorum sensing-regulated molecule 2-amino acetophenone.1 It increases survival in a mouse model of P. aeruginosa-induced post-burn infection when administered at a dose of 7.6 mg/kg.
