    Palmitoyl alkyne-coenzyme A (palmitoyl alkyne-CoA) is a thioester of ω-alkynylated palmitic acid (Item No. 13266) and CoA (Item Nos. 16147 | 21499 | 21722). It has been used as a chemical reporter to label palmitoylated proteins via click chemistry using various probes, including biotin-azide (Item No. 13040) or 3-azido-7-hydroxycoumarin, in vitro and in vivo.1
