    Product Description

    Cys-pexiganan is an antimicrobial peptide and a derivative of pexiganan (Item No. 36924) with an N-terminal cysteine.1 It is active against P. aeruginosa and S. aureus (MICs = 64 and 16 µg/ml, respectively). Conjugation of Cys-pexiganan to cellulose acetate-containing polyvinyl alcohol electrospun mats accelerates clotting of isolated recalcified human plasma.
