    5-FAM-LPETGG is a fluorescent peptide composed of the sortase recognition sequence LPETGG coupled to the fluorescent label 5-carboyxfluorescein (5-FAM; Item No. 19581), which displays excitation/emission maxima of 492/518 nm, respectively.1 It has been used for site-specific labeling of target proteins via sortase-catalyzed transpeptidation.
