    Product Description

    Ziyuglycoside I is a triterpenoid saponin that has been found in Sanguisorba officinalis and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3 It increases the synthesis of type I collagen in CCD-1064Sk human fibroblast cells in a concentration-dependent manner.4 Ziyuglycoside I inhibits the proliferation of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells (IC50 = 13.96 µM).5 It induces apoptosis and also increases levels of the cell cycle mediator p53 and the cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p21WAF1 in MDA-MB-231 cells in a concentration-dependent manner. Formulations containing ziyuglycoside I have been used in cosmetics as anti-wrinkle agents.
