    Product Description

Mycro 3 is an inhibitor of the protein-protein interaction between c-Myc and c-Myc associated protein (Max; IC50 = 40 µM).1 It is also an inhibitor of Max dimerization (IC50 = 88 µM). Mycro 3 selectively reduces the viability of c-Myc-expressing TGR-1 fibroblasts over c-Myc-null HO15.19 fibroblasts (IC50s = 0.25 and 9 µM, respectively).2 It decreases tumor weight in PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 pancreatic cancer mouse xenograft models when administered at a dose of 100 mg/kg per day. Mycro 3 (5 mg/kg every three days), in combination with docetaxel (Item No. 11637) or abiraterone (Item No. 9002768), reduces tumor volume and improves survival in an LNCaP prostate cancer mouse xenograft model.3
