    Muscimol (CRM) (Item No. 38030) is a certified reference material categorized as a GABAA and GABAC receptor antagonist.1,2 Muscimol has been found in A. muscaria, a mushroom with hallucinogenic properties.3 It inhibits apomorphine-induced stereotypical gnawing in mice, indicating a sedative effect.4 This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 13667).
