AR-9281 is an inhibitor of soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH; IC50 = 7 nM for the human enzyme).1 It reduces LPS-induced increases in plasma levels of dihydroxyeicosatrienoic acids (DiHETs), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2; Item No. 14010), and PGD2 (Item No. 12010) in rats when administered at a dose of 3 mg/kg.2 AR-9281 (1 and 3 mg/kg) inhibits LPS-induced allodynia in a rat model of inflammatory pain and increases the paw withdrawal threshold in a rat model of diabetic neuropathic pain induced by streptozotocin (Item No. 13104).
