    Product Description

8-bromo NAD+ is a prodrug form of the cyclic ADP-ribose (cADPR) inhibitor 8-bromo cADPR (Item No. 18442).1 It is converted to 8-bromo-cADPR by CD38. 8-bromo NAD+ (1 mM) prevents increases in intracellular calcium levels and chemotaxis induced by N-formyl-Met-Leu-Phe (fMLP; Item No. 21495) in isolated mouse bone marrow-derived neutrophils. It also decreases LPS-induced nitrite production and TNF-α and IL-2 secretion in mouse primary microglial cells when used at a concentration of 100 µM.2
