    NSC 232003 is an inhibitor of the protein-protein interaction between E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UHRF1 and DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1; IC50 = 15 µM in U251 glioma cells).1 It decreases 5-methylcytosine (5-mC) levels in U251 cells (IC50 = 15 µM).
