    Product Description

    Tizanidine (hydrochloride) (Item No. 38559) is an analytical reference standard categorized as a muscle relaxant.1,2 Tizanidine inhibits α- and γ-rigidity in rats, reflex muscle tone in rabbits, and the linguomandibular reflex in cats.2 It has been associated with fatal overdoses.3 Formulations containing tizanidine have been used in the treatment of spasticity. This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 16477).
