    Product Description

    Spirotetramat-d5 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of spirotetramat (Item No. 25634) by GC- or LC-MS. Spirotetramat is an insecticide.1 It increases the activity of glutathione peroxidase (GPX) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and decreases levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) in Chinese toad (B. gargarizans) tadpoles when used at a concentration of 0.06 mg/L.2 Spirotetramat induces toxicity in Chinese toad tadpoles (LC50 = 6.98 mg/L). Formulations containing spirotetramat have been used as insecticides in agriculture.
