    Product Description

    CP 346,086 is an inhibitor of microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTTP; IC50 = 2 nM).1 It inhibits apolipoprotein B (ApoB) and triglyceride secretion in HepG2 cells (IC50 = 2.6 nM for both). CP 346,086 (10 mg/kg) lowers plasma triglyceride levels, as well as plasma total, VLDL, and LDL cholesterol levels in rats.
