    Product Description

    Sulfosuccinimidyl 3-[[2-(biotinamido)ethyl]dithio]propionate (sulfo-NHS-SS-biotin) is a membrane-impermeable amine-reactive reagent that contains biotin (Item No. 22582) conjugated to N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide (sulfo-NHS; Item No. 20680) via a disulfide bond.1,2 It has been used as a derivatization reagent to identify post-translational modifications (PTMs) in lysine-rich proteins and novel cell surface proteins of R. rickettsii.
