ENVIRONMENTAL TOXICOLOGY TOOLS & SERVICESPicoxystrobin is a strobilurin fungicide.1 It is active against the plant pathogenic fungus R. herpotrichoides when used at a concentration of 0.75 mg/L.2 Picoxystrobin (100 µg/L) induces tail deformities, pericardial edema, and spine curvature in zebrafish embryos and is toxic to zebrafish embryos (LC50 = 213.8 µg/L).3 Formulations containing picoxystrobin have been used in the control of fungal diseases in agriculture.
