    Product Description

Phosmet-d6 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of phosmet (Item No. 25812) by GC- or LC-MS. Phosmet is an organophosphate insecticide and acaricide.1,2 It is toxic to T. cinnabarinus adults in slide-dip and leaf spray applications (LC50s = 13 and 15.5 ppm, respectively).1 Phosmet (0.1%) decreases the number of Colorado potato beetle (L. decemlineata) adults and third-stage larvae.2 It is effective in controlling S. scabiei in pigs when applied as a 20% pour-on solution.3 Phosmet is toxic to rats via oral administration (LD50 = 230 mg/kg).4 Formulations containing phosmet have been used in the control of insects and mites in agriculture.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
