    Product Description

YCT529 is an antagonist of retinoic acid receptor α (RARα; IC50 = 6.8 nM).1 It is selective for RARα over RARβ and RARγ (IC50s = >3,700 nM for both). YCT529 (7.5 mg/kg per week) reversibly reduces epidydimal sperm counts without reducing serum testosterone levels in male mice. It reduces germinal epithelial thickness in male dogs when administered at a dose of 25 mg/kg per day. YCT529 (10 mg/kg per week) decreases the number of embryos formed following copulation when administered to male rats.
