    Product Description

    Viaminate is a derivative of the retinoid vitamin A (Item No. 20241).1,2 It reverses keratinization of vitamin A-deficient primary hamster tracheal epithelial cells when used at a concentration of 10 nM.1 Viaminate (1.7-15 mg/kg, p.o.) reduces epidermal keratinization, oil accumulation, ear thickness and edema, and ear skin levels of Il-6, Il-1β, and Tnf-α in a rat model of acne induced by P. acnes.2
