    6β-hydroxy Triamcinolone acetonide is a metabolite of the synthetic corticosteroid triamcinolone acetonide (Item No. 18026).1 It is formed from triamcinolone acetonide by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoforms CYP3A4, CYP3A5, and CYP3A7. 6β-hydroxy Triamcinolone acetonide has been found in wastewater effluent.2
