    Product Description

    Paliperidone (CRM) (Item No. 40387) is a certified reference material categorized as an atypical antipsychotic.1 Paliperidone is an active metabolite of risperidone.2,3 It has anticonvulsant, antinociceptive, and antidepressant-like activities in rats.4 Paliperidone also inhibits apomorphine-induced agitation and stereotypy and induces catalepsy in rats. Formulations containing paliperidone have been used in the treatment of schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. This product is intended for analytical forensic applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 15556).
