    Cholesteryl butyrate is a cholesterol ester that has been used with other lipids in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs).1 LNPs containing cholesteryl butyrate decrease proliferation, induce cell death, as well as decrease c-Myc levels in cancer cells.
